(My Sportsbook) - Mike Bordick's RBI single tied the game and Angel Berroa's throwing error helped the Toronto Blue Jays cap a six-run ninth inning and post a 10-9 victory over the Kansas City Royals at the SkyDome yesterday.

Carlos Delgado went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored for the Blue Jays, who overcame a seven-run deficit in the contest.

Shannon Stewart and Frank Catalanotto also had three hits for Toronto, which took two of three in the series and has won three of its last four. Cliff Politte (1-2) struck out the only batter he faced for the win.

Pete Walker started the game for the Blue Jays and allowed eight runs and 10 hits in just 3 1/3 innings of work.

Toronto has now been outhomered 23-11 at home this season and has a record of just 4-8 when playing at the SkyDome. The Blue Jays will take the day off on Monday and will resume play on Tuesday.

Mark Hendrickson (1-3) will take to the mound for the Blue Jays on Tuesday, when they open up a three-game set against the Texas Rangers. He has made only one appearance against the Rangers in his career and allowed one earned run in just a third of an inning of work.
