Milwaukee, WI (My Sportsbook) - The Milwaukee Brewers released right-handed pitcher Jamey Wright from his Triple-A contract on Monday. The-28-year-old had been signed by the Brewers as a minor league free agent on March 26. He made seven appearances with Triple-A Indianapolis where he compiled a 1-3 record with a 7.36 ERA. Wright spent eight seasons in the majors, where he has had stints with Colorado, Milwaukee and St. Louis. For his career, he is 50-67 with an ERA of 5.17. There was a clause in Wright's contract that allowed him to ask for his release if he was not playing with Milwaukee by April 27.
