(My Sportsbook) - The St. Louis Cardinals put their sights on their third straight victory this evening, when they continue a three-game set against New York Mets at Busch Stadium. St. Louis posted a 13-3 win over the Mets in the first of this three-game set on Tuesday. Scott Rolen and Edgar Renteria each knocked in four runs to pace the Cardinals to the win. Eduardo Perez homered for the Cardinals, who have won three of their last four. Renteria finished 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and Rolen was 2-for-5 with two runs scored. Albert Pujols chipped in two hits, two runs batted in and three runs scored for the Cardinals, who played for the first time since a 20- inning victory over Florida on Sunday. Matt Morris (2-2) picked up the win with six solid innings. He gave up two runs on five hits with two walks and five strikeouts. St. Louis first baseman Tino Martinez served the first of a three-game suspension, which was reduced from four games earlier on Tuesday after Martinez dropped his appeal. The penalty stems from the April 20 fight he had with Arizona pitcher Miguel Batista. The Cardinals will pin their hopes on unbeaten righthander Woody Williams this evening. Williams has given up just two earned runs over 26 innings of work this season. The 36-year-old didn't record a decision in his last start, giving up 11 hits and two runs over 6 1/3 innings of work against Atlanta. Williams struck out four and walked one in the no-decision. Williams has been successful against the Mets in his career, going 3-1 with a 5.77 ERA. The twirler has surrendered 51 hits and 31 earned runs over 48 1/3 innings of work versus New York.
