(My Sportsbook) - The Tampa Bay Devil Rays dropped the opener of a three-game set from the Metrodome on Tuesday, as they suffered a 5-3 loss to the Minnesota Twins. Aubrey Huff tallied a game-high three hits, including a home run, for the Devil Rays, who have dropped consecutive games after winning two straight. Jorge Sosa (1-3) suffered the defeat after yielding four runs on eight hits and two walks in seven frames. The Devil Rays activated first baseman Travis Lee from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday and he went 1-for-4. Tampa Bay outfielder Rocco Baldelli went 0-for4 in the contest, leaving him with 38 hits for the season, one hit shy of Ichiro Suzuki's rookie record for hits by the end of April (39). Seth McClung will make the second start of his career tonight, as he takes on the Twins in the second tilt of this three-game series from Minnesota. He recorded his second victory of the year last time he was on the mound, pitching six innings and allowing just one earned run on only three hits. McClung (2-0) is making his first career start against Minnesota and will try to improve on his solid ERA of 3.48 this year. While the young righthander has been able to remain perfect in the win column this season, his control has been a problem, walking 13 batters in 20 2/3 innings of work.
