Toronto, Ontario (My Sportsbook) - The Toronto Blue Jays claimed pitcher Doug Davis off waivers from the Texas Rangers on Wednesday. Davis, who had spent his first four seasons in the majors with the Rangers, was designated for assignment by Texas on Monday. The lefthander, who is 21-21 in his career with a 5.09 ERA, made one start for the Rangers this season. He was charged with four runs in just three innings against the Yankees on April 26. |
