FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) -Miami Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga's son was sentenced to 120 days in jail Friday for striking a pedestrian while driving drunk. Robert Ray Huizenga also was ordered to serve a year of house arrest and four years probation and will lose his license for 10 years, The Miami Herald reported. The 44-year-old Huizenga pleaded no contest last month to the felony DUI charge and a misdemeanor count of refusing to submit to a blood/breath test. Huizenga was attempting to make a left turn in 2003, when he drove into the path of 71-year-old Irwin Feigenbaum. Feigenbaum was not seriously injured but had to be hospitalized for a night. Huizenga's lawyer, David Bogenschutz, said he was appealing the denial of pre-trial motions to dismiss both counts. ``He is appealing. He's out of jail and happy to be home with his family,'' Bogenschutz said.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
