(My Sportsbook) - Gary Sheffield finished 4-for-4 with three RBI and four runs scored as the Atlanta Braves pounded the Houston Astros, 11-1, in the second contest of a three-game set at Minute Maid Park. Chipper Jones ended 3-for-5 with four RBI for the Braves, who have won four straight and eight of their last nine games. Mike Hampton (1-1) picked up the victory after allowing one run on four hits in seven innings. He struck out two and walked one for Atlanta. Taking the mound for the Braves tonight is Shane Reynolds, who is 1-1 with a 5.74 ERA in three starts this season. In his last outing, Reynolds was tagged for 10 runs on 10 hits in just 3 1/3 innings of a 12-5 setback to the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday. He also walked two and struck out three in receiving his first loss of the season. Reynolds will be facing his former team, the Astros, for the first time after spending 11 years with them. Atlanta is 13-2 in its last 15 games and boasts a 2.69 ERA in that stretch. The Braves have won six straight games on the road.
