(My Sportsbook) - The Boston Red Sox look to complete a sweep of the Kansas City Royals on Thursday when the teams meet in the finale of their three-game series at Fenway Park. Boston has won three straight games overall and is coming off a dramatic 5-4 victory over the Royals on Wednesday. Manny Ramirez scored from third on an error to cap off a three-run ninth and help Boston down Kansas City. Ramirez had delivered an RBI single in the ninth for the Red Sox, who rallied from a two-run deficit in the final frame. Ramirez, Bill Mueller and Nomar Garciaparra each had two hits in the win. Alan Embree (1-0) posted the victory after retiring just one batter in the ninth. Taking the hill for the Red Sox today is Casey Fossum, who is 2-1 in five starts this year with a 3.94 ERA. Fossum claimed his second victory of the season in his last outing, allowing just five hits over seven scoreless innings of work against Anaheim on Friday. He walked one and struck out five. The lefthander has made three appearances against the Royals in his career, but no starts. He has no record with a 2.25 ERA in those outings. Boston has scored 159 runs this season, third most in the majors.
