(My Sportsbook) - Alex Gonzalez hit two home runs, including a three-run shot in the 10th inning, to help Chicago to a 5-1 win over San Francisco in the finale of a three-game series at Pac Bell Park. Gonzalez drove in four runs for the Cubs, who posted their second win in five games. Sammy Sosa homered in the 10th inning and had two hits. The Cubs won two of three in manager Dusty Baker's return to San Francisco, where he spent the past 10 years. Baker left after guiding the Giants to the World Series last season, but the NL pennant wasn't enough to help the skipper's strained relationship with owner Peter Magowan. Juan Cruz (1-0) tossed two shutout innings in relief to earn the win for Chicago. Mike Remlinger allowed one hit in the bottom of the 10th to preserve it. Shawn Estes gets the ball for the Cubs today, when they host the Colorado Rockies for a three-game set. Estes is just 1-3 with a 7.43 ERA in five starts this season. In his last outing, Estes was rocked by the Rockies, surrendering seven runs on 12 hits in just two innings of work on Saturday. He also walked and struck out one batter. Estes is a respectable 7-4 with a 4.30 ERA in 16 career starts against Colorado. Ramon Martinez and Moises Alou both had two hits on Thursday. Thursday's starter Mark Prior left after six innings, yielding just one run and six hits while striking out seven.
