(My Sportsbook) - The Twins will head to Boston today to face the Red Sox in a three-game series at Fenway Park. Minnesota is coming off a series sweep, as it took three games from the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. In the finale on Thursday, Cristian Guzman doubled in the game-winning run in the bottom of the 13th inning to lead Minnesota to the 6-5 victory at the Metrodome. Guzman finished 3-for-6, while Corey Koskie had two hits, including a homer, for the Twins, who had forced extra innings with a run in the ninth. Tony Fiore (1-0) worked two innings and allowed only one hit, while striking out two batters. The Twins swept a three-game series for the third time this season and have also seen eight of their nine series this year end in sweeps. Minnesota's Doug Mientkiewicz left the game in the third inning with a thumb injury, while Matthew LeCroy left in the seventh after he injured his elbow. Taking the mound for the Twins Friday is Kyle Lohse, who has dropped his last two starts. Lohse is 2-3 with a 4.80 ERA over five starts. The righthander suffered the loss against the White Sox on Saturday in his last outing. He permitted five runs on seven hits in 4 1/3 innings, walking two and striking out eight. Lohse has made one prior start against Boston in his career, but didn't figure in the decision.
