OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -The Oakland Raiders' Oct. 22 home game against the Arizona Cardinals would be pushed back to Monday night if the Athletics make the World Series. Game 2 of the Fall Classic is scheduled for that Sunday in the American League stadium, and the Raiders and Athletics share the Coliseum. If the A's advance, the football game would be played at 10 p.m. EDT on Oct. 23 and broadcast by ESPN in Arizona and the Bay area. The New York Giants will play the Dallas Cowboys in the regularly scheduled Monday night game that night at 8:30 p.m. EDT, to be televised nationally on ESPN. The Raiders also have a game scheduled against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Oct. 29, which is the same day as Game 7 of the World Series in the AL park. That game also could be moved back a day. Oakland opens the AL championship series Tuesday against the Detroit Tigers.Copyright © 2005 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
