New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Kansas City quarterback Damon Huard, San Diego Chargers defensive tickle Jamal Williams and Chiefs place kicker Lawrence Tynes were named the AFC's Week 5 Players of the Week on Wednesday. Huard, the offensive recipient, completed 26-of-38 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns in the Chiefs' 23-20 win over Arizona. Filling in for injured starter Trent Green, Huard has led Kansas City to consecutive wins and is 7-2 as a starter in his career. Tynes, Huard's teammate, connected on three field goals, including the game- winning 19-yarder with 1:36 remaining, to earn Special Teams Player of the Week accolades. Tynes also hit both of his PATs. Williams earned his first Defensive Player of the Week award thanks to a six- tackle, one-sack performance in the Chargers' 23-13 victory over the Steelers. This was the first Player of the Week honor for both Tynes and Huard.
