(My Sportsbook) - The Toronto Blue Jays made it a clean sweep of the defending World Champions, as the Angels fell 8-2 in the finale of a three- game set at SkyDome on Sunday. Anaheim starter Ramon Ortiz (4-3) was rocked for six runs -- five earned -- on nine hits in only 3 2/3 innings. He fanned three and walked two for the Angels, who couldn't manage a hit past the fourth inning. Garret Anderson drove in both Anaheim runs, while raising his batting average to .344 on the season and recording his 15th of the year. David Eckstein's throwing error in the second inning ended a 90-inning errorless streak for the Angels. Eckstein was however one of only three Angels who recorded a hit in the loss. Tim Salmon's 0-for-4 performance at the plate cost the Anaheim right fielder his 20-game hitting streak. The Angels will send ace Jarrod Washburn to the mound for the opening tilt of a three-game set from Anaheim on Tuesday. He is making his seventh start of the season and will try to record his third victory of the year. The Angels lefthander allowed two earned runs on five hits in his most recent outing, helping him break a two-game losing skid. Washburn (2-3) has posted a record of 3-3 and an ERA of 4.81 in his career appearances against the Indians. In those outings, he has walked 15 batters and struckout 29 of them in 48 2/3 innings of action.
