(My Sportsbook) - Matt Kinney (2-2) absorbed a loss, allowing four runs and three hits in six innings of a 5-3 setback to the New York Mets on Sunday. Kinney walked four and struck out five in the loss. Richie Sexson had two hits, including a homer, for the Brewers, who have lost seven of their last eight. Alex Sanchez went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI in the losing effort. Sanchez snapped 0-for-18 slump on with his 2-for-4 performance on Sunday. Ben Sheets heads to the hill for the Brewers tonight, when they begin a three- game series with the Chicago Cubs. Sheets is 2-3 with a 4.98 ERA in seven starts this season. In his last outing, Sheets was rocked for eight runs - six earned - and 10 hits in six frames of a 9-5 setback to the Montreal Expos on Wednesday. He struck out four and walked none. Sheets has dominated the Cubs over his career, going a perfect 5-0 with a 2.53 ERA in five starts. Second baseman Eric Young was a late scratch from the lineup due to a strained right quad.
