(My Sportsbook) - Carlos Delgado hit two of the Blue Jays' five home runs in the contest, helping lead Toronto to a 15-5 win over Texas in the opener of a three-game set at the Ballpark in Arlington on Tuesday. Orlando Hudson homered and knocked in four runs for Toronto, which has won five straight games. Jayson Werth and Vernon Wells also went deep for the Blue Jays. Werth posted a career-high three hits and also added three RBI in the win. Chris Woodward and Shannon Stewart each had three hits for Toronto, which pounded out 17 hits in the contest. Roy Halladay (2-2) pitched seven innings and gave up five runs for the win. He surrendered just six hits and struck out five despite surrendering two home runs. Tanyon Sturtze will try to continue the Blue Jays recent success, when he takes the hill against the Rangers tonight. Sturtze is 3-2 with a 5.57 ERA in six starts this season. In his last outing, Sturtze was roughed up for eight runs - six earned - and eight hits in just three and one-third innings of an 11-3 setback to the Texas Rangers on Wednesday. He also struck out three and walked one in his shortest outing of the season. Sturtze is just 1-4 with a 7.96 ERA in five career starts against the Rangers. Delgado now has hit 16 career homers in Texas, tying him for the active lead with Tim Salmon of the Angels. Delgado tied Texas' Juan Gonzalez and Carl Everett for the American League lead in home runs with 11.
