(My Sportsbook) - Jarrod Washburn tossed his first complete game of the season to lead Anaheim to a 6-1 win over Cleveland in the first of a three- game series at Edison Field. Washburn (3-3) allowed just one run on six hits. He walked two and struck out five to register his first complete-game win and third complete game of his career. Home runs by Garret Anderson, Bengie Molina and Adam Kennedy accounted for all the runs for Anaheim, which snapped a three-game losing streak. John Lackey gets the ball for the Angels tonight. The righthander is a dismal 1-3 with a 7.23 ERA in seven starts this season. In his last outing, Lackey surrendered three runs on five hits over six innings of a 3-1 setback to the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday. He struck out five and walked none in taking the loss. Lackey defeated the Indians in his only career start against them, surrendering just one run and six hits in seven frames. Washburn improved to 4-3 lifetime against Cleveland. Anaheim has won nine of their last 12 meetings, including three straight against the Indians.
