Jacksonville, FL (My Sportsbook) - Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Byron Leftwich was told before Thursday's practice that for the second straight week he would not be the starter. Leftwich, who sprained his left ankle against Washington on October 1 but played through the injury, was the third quarterback but did not dress in the team's 13-6 win versus Philadelphia last Sunday. He was downgraded from probable to questionable on the team's injury report on Thursday. David Garrard completed 10-of-17 passes for 87 yards without a touchdown or an interception. He also ran the ball eight times for 36 yards. Despite splitting the snaps with Leftwich on Wednesday, Garrard took all the snaps on Thursday. |
