(My Sportsbook) - The Anaheim Angels will attempt to build on a three-game sweep of Cleveland as they welcome the Toronto Blue Jays into Edison Field for the first of three games tonight. Anaheim has recovered from a sweep at SkyDome last weekend by winning three straight games. The Angels continued their dominance of the Indians on Thursday, tallying a 7-1 victory. Garret Anderson belted a grand slam and tied a career high with seven RBI in the winning effort. Anderson finished 3-for-4, while Adam Kennedy ended 2- for-4 with three runs scored. Anaheim earned its first sweep over the Indians since April 20-22, 1993. Anaheim starter Kevin Appier (2-2) picked up the victory in his first appearance since April 19. Appier, who had been on the disabled list with a forearm injury, allowed one run on just two hits in five innings of work. He struck out two and walked six in the win. Continuing a trend, the Angels will send another returning twirler to the mound in veteran Aaron Sele this evening. Sele, who will be making his season debut, has been slowly working his way back from shoulder surgery. The 32- year-old has made just one appearance since August 20 of last season. Sele is 115-77 with a 4.39 ERA in his career, including 14 complete games and eight shutouts. He beat the Blue Jays twice last season, allowing only five earned runs over 11 2/3 innings of work. For his career, Sele owns a 7-4 mark with a 4.48 ERA versus Toronto. Anderson has 33 RBI already this season, 14 more than his closest teammate.
