Sacramento, CA (My Sportsbook) - Sacramento Kings guard Bobby Jackson has been cleared to play after suffering a fractured cheekbone in Thursday's 132-110 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavericks' blowout victory in Game 2 tied the best-of-seven Western Conference semifinal series at one game apiece. The Kings lost Jackson early in the fourth quarter after he suffered a non- displaced fracture of his right orbital bone during a collision with Dallas' Raef LaFrentz. Jackson, who was called for an offensive foul on the play, smacked his face against the right shoulder of LaFrentz and was taken into the locker room for x-rays. The injury will take three-to-four weeks to heal, but team physician Dr. Richard Marder has cleared Jackson to play in Game 3 this Saturday at Sacramento. Jackson, who was voted the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year, averaged 15.2 points per game in the regular season and 14.5 through the Kings' first six playoffs games.
