San Francisco, CA (My Sportsbook) - San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds set two more home run records on Tuesday during Game 3 of the World Series at Pacific Bell Park. Bonds belted a 437-foot home run during the fifth inning to become the first player with seven homers in a single post-season and the first to hit a homer in each of his first three World Series games. "Barry's doing his thing," said Giants manager Dusty Baker. "He's doing what he's capable of doing. Barry's swinging the bat great." Bonds, the single-season home run king with 73 in 2001, drove a 1-1 pitch from Ramon Ortiz over the wall in center field. The two-run shot still left the Giants trailing 8-4 and they went on to drop a 10-4 decision, falling behind two games to one in the series. The record of six post-season homers was first set by Pittsburgh's Bob Robertson in 1971, then equaled by Philadelphia's Lenny Dykstra in 1993, Ken Griffey Jr. of Seattle in 1995, Bernie Williams of the New York Yankees in 1996, Cleveland's Jim Thome in 1998 and Anaheim's Troy Glaus this year.
