Last night, Jason Jennings allowed just one earned run in seven innings to lead Colorado to the win. Preston Wilson delivered a three-run homer and drove in four runs, while Jay Payton had two hits and scored twice for the Rockies, who snapped a five- game losing streak and posted just their second win in 10 games. Jennings (3-3) yielded nine hits, struck out four and walked four for the Rockies. Jose Jimenez earned his eighth save despite allowing two runs and four hits in the ninth. His last start marked just his third outing of six or more innings this season. Cook is still trying for his first road win of 2003, as he is 0-2 with a 4.95 ERA in four assignments. This will be his first career appearance against the Marlins. The Rockies are 2-6 on their current road trip, which concludes today.
