FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -Patriots safety Rodney Harrison will miss this Sunday's game against the New York Jets. Coach Bill Belichick acknowledged Wednesday that Harrison would be out, although he stopped short of giving specifics about the injury. Harrison left Sunday's 27-20 loss to Indianapolis early in the game with what was described only as an arm injury. Published reports citing unnamed league sources said Harrison suffered a broken shoulder blade in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. ``We all hope he'll be back out there soon,'' Belichick said, though he added there was no way to predict how long Harrison will be sidelined. It's the second significant injury in as many years for the 33-year-old Harrison. He went on injured reserve last season after a severe knee injury in the third game of the regular season.
