Uniondale, NY (My Sportsbook) - New York Islanders forward Oleg Kvasha will miss at least two weeks with a left ankle fracture that he suffered in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to Carolina. Kvasha was injured late in the second period after getting hit in the leg by a slap shot off the stick of Hurricanes defenseman Bret Hedican. The 24-year-old Moscow native has yet to record a point this season despite taking 14 shots. In 285 career games, the five-year NHL veteran has scored 41 goals and added 67 assists while recording 209 penalty minutes.
