(My Sportsbook) - Runelvys Hernandez hopes to halt a personal two-game losing streak on Wednesday when his Kansas City Royals take on the Minnesota Twins in the third of a four-game set at the Metrodome. Hernandez has dropped his last two starts after claiming his first four decisions of the season. Overall, he is 4-2 with a 2.04 ERA in eight starts. In his most recent outing, the righthander suffered the loss against Baltimore Friday. He allowed five runs -- three earned -- on five hits in 6 1/3 frames, walking three and striking out four. Hernandez defeated the Twins back on April 22, permitting just one run on three hits in 6 2/3 innings. For his career, he is 1-1 with a 4.09 ERA in two starts versus Minnesota. Last night, Desi Relaford went 3-for-4 with an RBI, while Ken Harvey also drove home a run for the Royals, who saw their three-game winning streak come to an end. Albie Lopez (4-2) took the loss after he permitted the two runs in the 10th on two hits. The Royals who started the month of April with an 11-2 record in their first 13 games have started the month of May off with a 6-7 record in the first 13 games of the month.
