Jacksonville, FL (My Sportsbook) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have lost yet another key defensive player, as safety Donovin Darius broke his right leg in the first quarter of the Jags' 26-10 win over the New York Giants. He will miss the rest of the season with the injury. Jaguars head coach Jack Del Rio confirmed the injury in his postgame press conference. Darius injured the leg on a 13-yard screen pass from Eli Manning to Tiki Barber in which the veteran defensive back appeared to have his leg rolled over. This is Darius' ninth season in the NFL, all with Jacksonville. He was selected 25th overall by the Jaguars in 1998 out of Syracuse. Jacksonville had already lost two defensive starters in linebacker Mike Peterson and defensive end Reggie Hayward before Darius went down. Eight Jaguars defensive players are on injured reserve.
