(My Sportsbook) - The Tampa Bay Devil Rays came up just short on Wednesday as they fell 7-6 to the Toronto Blue Jays in the second of a three-game set at SkyDome. Aubrey Huff finished with two hits, including a homer, and scored twice for the Devil Rays, who lost for the second time in their last five despite a four-run eighth inning. Dewon Brazelton (0-2), the Devil Rays starter, absorbed the loss. In five innings, he permitted seven hits and five runs. The Devil Rays fell to 5-12 on the road this year and dropped to just 15-24 on the season, 11 games out of first place in the AL East. The controversial John Rocker had another rough appearance for Tampa Bay, allowing one run on two hits, in just one inning of action. Rocker also surrendered a walk in the outing and now has three in just one inning of action this year. Jim Parque will take to the hill today for the Devil Rays, as he takes on the Blue Jays from SkyDome. He recorded his first victory of the year last time he was on the mound, pitching six shutout innings and striking out four batters against Detroit. Parque (1-1) is making just his seventh career start against Toronto and is still in search of his victory against the team. In 34 innings of work against the Blue Jays, he has struckout 27 batters and walked 16.
