(My Sportsbook) - Milwaukee will give the ball to Ben Sheets today in hopes of preventing a four-game sweep at the hands of the Chicago Cubs at Miller Park. Sheets will attempt to outduel Kerry Wood this afternoon. The former Olympian has won four of his last five decisions after losing his first two of the season. Sheets picked up a victory last time on hill, giving up 10 hits and two runs over six innings against Cincinnati. The righthander struck out six and permitted just one walk. Sheets has been outstanding against the Cubs in his career, tallying a 6-0 record with a 2.72 ERA. The righthander has surrendered just 32 hits and 12 earned runs over 39 2/3 innings of action versus Chicago. Milwaukee has lost four straight, including the first three of this series. The Brewers dropped a 6-1 decision to the Cubs on Wednesday. The Brewers mustered only three hits off Cubs starter Carlos Zambrano, with Scott Podsednik, Geoff Jenkins and Wes Helms registering singles. John Vander Wal scored the team's only run and Eddie Perez had the lone RBI. Milwaukee starter Matt Kinney (2-3) pitched well early, but he wound up giving up six runs on eight hits, striking out seven and walking one in 7 2/3 innings of work. Brewers reliever Valerio De Los Santos, on the disabled list with tendinitis in his left shoulder, threw 30 rehab pitches in a bullpen session and expressed no discomfort.
