(My Sportsbook) - The Colorado Rockies welcome the red hot Montreal Expos into Coors Field tonight for the opener of a four-game set. The Rockies have found some success recently, winning two straight after losing seven of eight. Yesterday, Chris Stynes' RBI single in the bottom of the eighth lifted Colorado over the Mets, 6-5, in the rubber match of a three- game set at Coors Field. Larry Walker added a pair of hits and two RBI for the Rockies. Colorado will send righthander Jason Jennings to the mound tonight, and he is 2-0 over his last three outings. The 2002 NL Rookie of the Year has won both his starts in Denver this season and is now 11-5 at Coors Field. This will mark Jennings' second career start versus the Expos. The other came September 21, 2001 when he didn't get a decision, despite allowing seven runs -- six earned -- over 4 1/3 innings. Additionally, Jennings has yet to lose in the month of May, going 5-0 in eight starts. Colorado's Preston Wilson enters tonight with an 11-game hitting streak and he is batting .463 (19-for-41) in that span. This is the first meeting of the season between these squads. Colorado took four of six from the Expos last year and have won five of the last seven in the series. While the Rockies own a dreadful 6-16 road record to date, they are an impressive 13-5 at Coors Field.
