Boston, MA (My Sportsbook) - The Texas Rangers activated catcher Todd Greene from the 15-day disabled list and entered him into the starting lineup against the Boston Red Sox Thursday. Greene went 1-for-3 with a solo homer and threw a runner out attempting to steal in the Rangers' 12-3 loss. The Rangers sent Gerald Laird to Triple-A Oklahoma. Greene, who went on the DL April 30 with a strained right hamstring, was batting .179 with two homers and three RBIs in 11 games before he was injured. Laird was 3-for-6 in six games and one start in Greene's absence.
