New Orleans, LA (My Sportsbook) - New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Marques Colston is inactive Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers because of a sprained left ankle. Colston left his team's 31-16 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals at the Superdome in Week 11 when he was hurt in the first quarter while blocking for running back Deuce McAllister. He was inactive for Week 12's 31-13 win over Atlanta. A 2006 seventh-round draft pick out of Hofstra, Colston has been the breakout star of the season with 54 catches for 869 yards and seven touchdowns. Defensive end Will Smith is also inactive for the Saints with a bruised right knee. |
