(My Sportsbook) - Pat Hentgen pitched seven strong shutout innings to set the table for Baltimore's 2-0 victory over Tampa Bay in the second of a three-game set at Camden Yards. Hentgen (1-0) yielded just two hits while striking out four and walking four. Buddy Groom and Jorge Julio then combined for two shutout innings of relief, with Julio picking up his 10th save for working the ninth. Jerry Hairston continued his hot play with an RBI double. Jeff Conine added the other RBI for the Orioles, who outhit Tampa Bay 5-3. Taking the hill for the Orioles today is Omar Daal, who is just 2-5 with a 5.01 ERA in eight starts this season. In his previous outing on Tuesday, Daal allowed just one run and seven hits in seven innings, but was on the losing end of a 1-0 shutout to the Chicago White Sox. He struck out six and walked four in receiving his second consecutive loss. Daal has faced the Devil Rays three times this season and has gone 1-1 with a 3.00 ERA in that time. He is 1-2 with a 6.04 ERA in four career starts against Tampa Bay. Baltimore manager Mike Hargrove resumed managing for the first time since his mother's death on May 12.
