(My Sportsbook) - The Arizona Diamondbacks try to avoid being swept by the Pittsburgh Pirates this afternoon at Bank One Ballpark as their weekend series draws to a close. The Diamondbacks have dropped the first two games of the set, including Saturday's 8-5 setback. Mark Grace and David Dellucci each hit homers for the Diamondbacks, who have dropped three straight contests. Luis Gonzalez ended 3- for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored. Chris Capuano (0-2) was handed the loss, surrendering seven runs on six hits in 4 2/3 frames. He walked two and struck out two. Taking the ball Arizona today will be young righthander Brandon Webb, who has allowed just five runs over four starts this season. The 24-year-old hurler is 1-1 with a 1.61 ERA. He did not earn the decision in his last start against Philadelphia on Tuesday. He allowed one run and five hits over six innings in that outing. This will be Webb's first appearance against the Pirates. Arizona has won six of the last 10 meetings overall and is 10-4 against the Pirates at Bank One Ballpark since the start of the 2000 season.
