(My Sportsbook) - The Milwaukee Brewers target their first sweep of the season this afternoon when they close their three-game set against the Cincinnati Reds at Miller Park. Eddie Perez clubbed a game-winning three-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift the Brewers to an 8-6 win over Cincinnati in the second game of the set on Saturday. John Vander Wal added two hits and drove in three runs, while Scott Podsednik had a pair of hits and two RBI for Milwaukee, which has won two straight after a five-game skid. Mike DeJean (1-2) recorded the win, pitching one inning with two strikeouts. The Brewers have scored 20 runs through the first two games of this series - more than they scored through their entire five-game losing streak (16). A win today would give the Brewers their first three-game sweep since taking three in a row from the Reds from Aug. 30-Sept. 1 of last season. Heading to the hill today for the Brewers will be Ruben Quevedo, who will try to post his first win since July 20. The 24-year-old righthander, who is 0-1 with a 5.84 ERA, lost his career high fifth straight decision his last time out against the Chicago Cubs. In that outing Quevedo allowed six runs on 10 hits over 6 1/3 innings. Quevedo has faced the Reds six times in his career - five starts - and is 0-4 against them with a 4.56 ERA.
