(My Sportsbook) - The San Francisco Giants try to get back on the winning track this afternoon when they close their four-game set against the New York Mets at Pac Bell Park. On Saturday, Steve Trachsel allowed one run and four hits in a season-high eight innings to lead New York to a 5-1 win in the third installment of the weekend set. Marquis Grissom drove in the only run for the Giants, who fell for the sixth time in eight tries. San Francisco will send rookie Kurt Ainsworth to the hill. Ainsworth, 3-3 with a 4.56 ERA, won his first three starts, but is winless in his last five, including a setback to the Montreal Expos in his last outing on Tuesday. In that game he allowed six runs - five earned - on nine hits over 6 2/3 innings. This will be the rookie's first appearance against the Mets. Grissom has had success against Sunday's starter for New York, Tom Glavine, as he is 8-for-24 against the southpaw with a home run and a team-best seven RBI. Rich Aurilia is 9-for-28 in his career against Glavine with a homer and five RBI. The Giants have won nine of 10 versus the Mets and 13 of the last 17 in the series.
