(My Sportsbook) - The Florida Marlins hope to avoid getting swept by the Los Angeles Dodgers this afternoon when the two teams conclude their three-game series at Dodgers Stadium. Florida has dropped the first two games of the set, including Saturday's 4-1 setback. Luis Castillo hit a solo homer for the Marlins, who have lost 10 of their last 14 games. Juan Encarnacion and Alex Gonzalez had the only other hits for Florida, which had just one base runner after the fourth inning. Florida starter Michael Tejera was saddled with the loss, allowing three runs on seven hits in six innings. Tejera (0-2) fanned three and walked one in the loss. Brad Penny will take the ball today for the Marlins and will be looking for his first win since April 16. Penny, who is 2-2 with a 4.35 ERA, in winless in his last five starts despite allowing more than three earned runs just once during that span. The 24-year-old righthander allowed five runs on seven hits over six innings in his last start against the San Diego Padres on Tuesday, but did not factor in the decision of his team's 6-5 loss. The Marlins have lost the last four games which Penny has started. Penny is 2-2 with a 4.60 ERA in five career starts against Los Angeles. These squads split six meetings last season. However, the Dodgers own a 17-7 advantage in this set since the start of the 2000 campaign. Los Angeles is 10-2 in its last 12 home contests in the series.
