Cleveland, OH (My Sportsbook) - The Cleveland Indians purchased the contract of pitcher Jason Phillips from Triple-A Buffalo before Sunday's game with Oakland. Phillips, who underwent right elbow surgery last September, is tied for first in the International League in wins with six. He holds a 2.70 ERA in 43 1/3 innings. To make room on their roster, the Indians designated pitcher Jerrod Riggan for assignment. |
