(My Sportsbook) - The Orioles permitted six runs in the last three innings of a 9-8 setback to the Tampa Bay Devils Rays on Sunday. Jorge Julio (0-2) suffered the defeat. He permitted two runs on five hits in just 1 1/3 innings. Melvin Mora went 3-for-4 with a home run and both Tony Batista and Jeff Conine posted three hits for Baltimore, which has dropped seven of its last eight games. Conine also homered along with Deivi Cruz. Rick Helling takes the hill for the Orioles on Tuesday, when they open up a three-game set against the Anaheim Angels. Helling is 2-4 with a 5.51 ERA in eight appearances this season. In his last outing on Wednesday, Helling was tagged for four runs and eight hits over six and two-third frames of a 5-1 setback to the Chicago White Sox. He struck out five and walked none. Helling is 7-8 with a 6.70 ERA in 17 career starts against the Angels. Sunday's starter Omar Daal allowed four runs on nine hits in seven innings. The Orioles optioned 3B Jose Leon to Triple-A Ottawa after Sunday's game. They are expected to activate B.J. Surhoff from the 15-day DL.
