Aubrey Huff notched three hits, three runs scored and two RBI, and Julio Lugo homered for Tampa Bay, which has won three of its last four. Rocco Baldelli scored two runs in the victory. Lance Carter (4-1) threw 1 2/3 innings of relief and allowed one run on one hit in earning the win. Dewon Brazleton takes the hill for the Devils Rays on Tuesday, when they open up a three-game set against the Texas Rangers. Brazleton is 0-2 with a 5.60 ERA in three starts this season. In his last outing on Wednesday, Brazleton was roughed up for five runs on seven hits over five innings of a 7-6 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. He struck out three and walked one in receiving his second consecutive loss. Brazleton has never faced the Rangers in his brief major league career. Sunday's starter Joe Kennedy was tagged for five runs -- four earned -- on 10 hits in 4 2/3 innings. Damion Easley ended an 0-for-20 skid with an infield hit in the fifth inning of Sunday's game.
