In his last start on Wednesday, Davis threw seven strong innings, allowing just one earned run and four hits in a 7-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners. He struck out a season-high seven batters and walked one in picking up his first victory since April 20th.

Davis has never faced the Tigers in his brief major league career.
