(My Sportsbook) - Closer Danys Baez was rocked for five runs on five hits in just one-third of an inning in an 8-5 setback to the Oakland A's on Sunday. Ellis Burks had two hits and scored three runs, while Casey Blake drove in two for Cleveland, which squandered a five-run lead and lost for the second time in five games. The Indians didn't have a hit after the fifth inning. Starter Brian Anderson was charged with three runs on five hits over seven and one-third innings pitched. Jason Davis takes the hill for the Indians tonight, when they open up a four- game set against the Detroit Tigers. Davis is 3-4 with a 6.31 ERA in eight starts this season. In his last start on Wednesday, Davis threw seven strong innings, allowing just one earned run and four hits in a 7-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners. He struck out a season-high seven batters and walked one in picking up his first victory since April 20th. Davis has never faced the Tigers in his brief major league career. Cleveland dropped to 14-1 when leading after six innings. Milton Bradley has reached base safely in 28 consecutive games, the longest streak in the majors.
