Boston, MA (My Sportsbook) - New York Yankees reliever Steve Karsay will likely miss the remainder of the season after he undergoes arthroscopic surgery on his injured right shoulder on Tuesday. Karsay started the season on the disabled list after experiencing soreness in his right pitching shoulder during spring training. After several successful rehab stints, he was advised to shut it down. He visited Dr. James Andrews on Monday in Birmingham, Alabama, and has been advised to undergo the surgery. The righthanded Karsay compiled a 6-4 record while saving 12 games and striking out 65 last season, his first for the Yankees.
