Houston, TX (My Sportsbook) - Houston Astros infielder Geoff Blum missed Tuesday night's game against St. Louis because of severe headaches. Blum, 30, was admitted to Methodist Hospital in Houston and will spend Tuesday night there because of a viral syndrome. He was replaced in the Astros lineup by Morgan Ensberg, and the team went on to defeat the Cardinals by a 3-2 margin. Blum is batting .285 with four home runs and 18 RBI in 42 games with Houston. |
