=== Philadelphia Phillies Team Report - May 22 === (My Sportsbook) - Vicente Padilla tries to win for the first time in more than a month today, as the Philadelphia Phillies take on the New York Mets in the rubber match of their three-game series at Shea Stadium. The Phillies had their three-game winning streak broken last night when Tony Clark singled home Marco Scutaro with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning to lift New York to a 5-4 triumph. Jimmy Rollins had two hits for the Phillies, who lost for just the second time in six games. Padilla has struggled for the Phillies by going 0-4 over his last five outings. The last victory for the 25-year-old righthander came April 19 when he tossed a four-hit shutout in Atlanta. In his most recent appearance, last Friday against Houston, Padilla allowed six hits and two runs in a no-decision over seven innings. One positive note for Padilla is his 4-0 career mark in 12 games versus the Mets. That includes a 3-0 record in six contests at Shea Stadium. At the conclusion of this stop in the Big Apple, the Phillies will move north of the border for three games with the Montreal Expos before beginning a 12- game homestand that includes a pair of three-game sets against Seattle and Oakland during interleague play in early June.
