=== Houston Astros Team Report - May 22 === (My Sportsbook) - Vying for a piece of second place in the NL Central, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Houston Astros will go head-to-head in the finale of their three-game set at Minute Maid Park tonight. Toeing the rubber for the Astros will be 26-year-old lefthander Jeriome Robertson this evening. Robertson is without a win (0-2) in his last six starts, including a no-decision last week against Philadelphia. The southpaw allowed nine hits and two runs over six innings, while fanning four and walking two. Robertson will be taking the mound against the Cardinals for the first time in his career. Morgan Ensberg homered for the Astros, who have lost three of their last four games, on Wednesday. Starting pitcher Peter Munro (3-2) went two innings and faced four batters in the third without recording an out. He allowed six hits and five runs. Houston has still won four of seven meetings between these clubs this season. St. Louis is 16-10 against the Astros since the start of last season, including 9-6 in Houston. |
