Bronx, NY (My Sportsbook) - The Toronto Blue Jays activated pitcher Pete Walker off the 15-day disabled list following Thursday's game against the New York Yankees. Walker had been sidelined since May 2 with right shoulder soreness. He has made a pair of rehab starts, including Wednesday with Double-A New Haven, where he worked an inning and threw 19 pitches. The righthander is 1-1 with a 6.31 earned run average in nine games, including four starts, this season. The Blue Jays opened a roster spot by sending pitcher Brian Bowles to Triple-A Syracuse. The righthander had appeared in just two games since his recall on May 6 and yielded one run in 1 1/3 innings.
