=== Cincinnati Reds Team Report - May 23 === (My Sportsbook) - The Cincinnati Reds will host the struggling Florida Marlins in a three-game set at Great American Ball Park tonight. The Reds' three-game winning streak was snapped last night when they were defeated by the Atlanta Braves 9-4 in the finale of a three-game set. Jose Guillen had his first career multi- homer game, finishing 2-for-4 with two homers and three RBI. Ken Griffey Jr. contributed a 1-for-3 night with a walk and a run scored. Ryan Dempster (1-4) continued his struggles against the Braves, running his career record to 1-8 against Atlanta. Dempster gave up all nine Atlanta runs and tied a career-high in hits allowed with 11. On the bright side, he fanned 10 to go along with just two walks. The Reds will hand the ball to third-year righthander Jeff Austin this evening. Austin struggled in his last outing, giving up four hits and five runs over 3 1/3 innings of action against Milwaukee. He had control problems as he walked six and struck out two. Austin has never started against Florida, but has tossed 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief against the Marlins. The Reds lead the National League with 74 home runs.
