On Friday, Brian Banks went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBI to lead Florida to an 8-4 win over Cincinnati in the opener of the set. Ryan Freel, Wily Mo Pena and Reggie Taylor all had an RBI for the Reds, who have lost their last two outings. Austin Kearns, who missed Thursday's game with a sore shoulder, went 1-for-4 and extended his hitting streak to a career-high 16 games. Jeff Austin (2-2) started the game, but was torched for five runs on three hits, while walking four, without recording an out before he was lifted. Taking the mound for the Reds Saturday is Paul Wilson, who has just one win his last four starts (1-1). Overall, the righthander is 2-3 on the year with a 5.05 ERA in nine starts. In his last outing, Wilson failed to earn a decision against Milwaukee Sunday. He allowed three runs on eight hits over six innings, while walking one and striking out four. Wilson has never defeated the Marlins in six career outings -- four starts. He is 0-2 with a 4.91 ERA against Florida.
