=== Los Angeles Dodgers Team Report - May 25 === (My Sportsbook) - The Los Angeles Dodgers go for their 10th straight victory and their third straight series sweep on Sunday when they take on the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park. The red-hot Dodgers have captured their last nine games to pull within 1 1/2 games of the first-place San Francisco Giants in the NL West. Most recently, LA blanked Milwaukee on Saturday, 6-0, in the second of their three-game series, as Hideo Nomo carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning on his way to a shutout. Nomo (6-4) surrendered just two hits -- both in the seventh inning -- for his 15th career complete game and ninth career shutout. He struck out eight and walked four, while picking up a pair of hits and scoring a run for the Dodger offense. Fred McGriff's grand slam in the fifth inning would be all Los Angeles needed to continue its winning streak, although the team added two more runs late in the game. Brian Jordan added a pair of hits and knocked in both of those runs for the Dodgers, who picked up 11 hits in the game. Kevin Brown gets the call for the Dodgers Sunday aiming to win his fifth straight decision. Brown is undefeated in his last six starts (4-0), with his last and only setback of the year coming on April 18 against the Giants. The righthander earned the victory in his most recent outing versus Colorado Tuesday, surrendering only one run on three hits in seven innings. He walked three and struck out nine. Brown has had success against Milwaukee in his career, posting a 12-5 record with a 3.13 ERA in 23 starts.
