He walked three batters and threw a pair of wild pitches without picking up a strikeout. Neifi Perez tripled home a run, but that didn't come until the ninth inning with San Francisco trailing 5-0. Kirk Rueter takes the hill for the Giants today, as they conclude a four-game set against the Colorado Rockies. Rueter is 5-1 with a 3.08 ERA in 10 starts this season. In his last outing on Tuesday, Rueter allowed three runs and eight over 7 1/3 innings of a 6-5 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. He struck out and walked one in picking up his second consecutive victory. Rueter is 9-8 with a 5.29 ERA in 22 career starts against the Rockies. Andres Galarraga went 3-for-4 with a run scored on Sunday and is now batting .383. |
