Wayne Franklin will take the hill for the Brewers on Tuesday, when they open a three-game set against the San Diego Padres. Franklin is 3-4 with a 5.61 ERA in 12 appearances this season. In his last outing on Wednesday, Franklin tossed a complete games shutout, yielding just two hits in a 10-0 victory over the Padres. He struck out five and walked two in receiving his second consecutive victory. Wednesday's game was Franklin's first career appearance against the Padres.
