=== Detroit Tigers Team Report - May 26 === (My Sportsbook) - A three-run homer in the bottom of the 12th inning by Joe Crede lifted the Chicago White Sox to an 8-5 win over Detroit in the finale of a three-game series at U.S. Cellular Field yesterday. Kevin Witt, Eric Munson and Bobby Higginson each posted two hits for the Tigers, who had won three straight. Witt and Munson both slammed solo homers. A throwing error by Munson at third base with two outs set the stage for Crede's game-winning homer off Steve Sparks (0-1). Adam Bernero, the Tiger starter, was charged with five runs on six hits in six innings of work. Matt Roney and Jamie Walker each tossed an inning of scoreless relief for the Tigers, while Detroit fell to 1-4 in extra-inning contests this season. Jeremy Bonderman gets the call for the Tigers today against Cleveland in search of his third win of the season. He received a loss in his most recent outing, pitching five innings and allowing three earned runs on six hits while surrendering five walks. Bonderman (2-7) is making just the second start of his career against the Indians. His previous outing against them was his most recent loss of the season.
